The Dein Newcomer Award 2026 will be awarded at the Food Innovation Camp on June 22 together with our partner REWE Nord.

As part of the Food Innovation Camps on June 22, we will be awarding the audience prize Dein Newcomer for the fourth time together with our partner REWE Nord, and you can help decide by voting between March 23rd and April 14th.
By voting for Dein Newcomer, you will be helping the respective start-up to climb to the next level of the award and pitch to REWE buyers in the semi-finals in order to qualify for the final at the Food Innovation Camp.

Im Rahmen des Food Innovation Camps haben wir am 23. Juni gemeinsam mit unserem Partner der REWE Nord das dritte Mal den Publikumspreis Dein Newcomer 2025 vergeben. Vorher pitchte die Top 8 beim REWE Pitch Day vor den Einkäufer:innen der REWE. Für die dort gekürte Top 3 bestehend aus Djoon, O-SOME TASTE und Oh my Seed ging es dann weiter im Finale auf dem Food Innovation Camp, wo sie in einem weiteren live Pitch für den Titel Dein Newcomer 2025 und eine Probelistung bei der REWE Nord antraten. Den Titel sicherte sich in diesem Jahr O-SOME TASTE, die mit hoher Qualität, gutem Geschmack und einem auffälligen Verpackungsdesign überzeugen konnten.

Main prize: Trial listing at REWE Nord
In addition, the Top 8 from the public vote will pitch their ideas to REWE buyers at REWE Nord’s central headquarters.

REWE Nord Test Listing
In the final at the Food Innovation Camp, the top three from the semi-final will have the chance to win a REWE Nord test listing, allowing them to place their product directly in REWE markets.
Semi-finals in front of REWE buyers
In the semi-finals, the Top 8 pitch their ideas at REWE Nord’s central location directly in front of REWE buyers and have the opportunity to discuss their products with them.
Three-week advertising campaign
During the Public Voting Phase, we collaborate with selected content creators and promote the award on our channels and theirs. Last year, we reached a total of over 565,000 food fans.
Product shipment to REWE buyers
Just making it into the Top 15 of the Public Vote means that your product will be sent to REWE buyers, who will test and try it out.
Tasting Event
Live sampling of the products selected by Public Voting at FIC HQ with decision-makers from the retail sector, selected content creators, and social media coverage.
2 FIC Tickets
Each participating startup will receive two Expo-Tickets for the Food Innovation Camp, allowing them to experience an exciting day full of food innovations and networking opportunities.
